Meet Merry Burney, Owner of The Raised Brow! Merry is a licensed Permanent Cosmetic Artist, and believes in natural looking permanent makeup to complement each woman’s beauty!
What makes you or your business stand out and why should a couple hire you?
I provide permanent makeup services which include: Microblading, Feathered Brows, Powder/Ombre’ Brows, Eyeliner, and Aquarelle Lips (semi-permanent lip color). By providing these services to brides, they can feel confident that their makeup won’t wear off during or after the reception, and they can “wake up with makeup” on their honeymoon and feel confident!
What’s your favorite thing about what you do?
I love giving women the gift of “time.” With permanent makeup, you don’t have to spend hours in the mirror getting ready. You can get out the door faster and save your precious time.
How did you get to where you are now?
I got where I am now by having a passion for making people beautiful. I love getting up every morning and going to my “job.” It’s taken a lot of hard work and training, but I love it!
What’s something every couple should know before getting married?
Never, ever give up, and always kiss each other hello and goodbye.
What did you want to be when you were little?
A makeup artist. I did it!
What did you eat for breakfast this morning?
Oatmeal with brown sugar and nuts.
What do you like to do when you are away from work?
Bake and spend time with my family.
Where is your happy place?
With my husband at home in front of the fire.

A new location.
