How They Met
Lindsay and Bobby first met in college in 2011, but at the time they were dating other people. Since they had so many mutual friends, the two stayed in contact, especially when Bobby joined the army after graduation and found himself in Richmond most weekends. The two reconnected over Facebook in 2015. Lindsay explains, “Our first ‘date’ was getting together at a friend’s house. We had an immediate spark and the rest is history!”

The Proposal
One weekend, as Lindsay was packing up to move from Columbus, GA to Savannah, her sister Kendall, came down to help move. While unpacking into their new home, she secretly hid their family ring inside the house.

Fast forward to when Bobby was able to come home (as he was training), and the two had their whole family in town for Memorial Day Weekend. “On May 28th, we went to Wormsloe Plantation with our dog, Gunner.” Once they got to the end, Bobby handed Lindsay his phone as and a video started playing. “It was his plan on spending the rest of his life with me. When it was over, he was down on one knee with our whole family around. It was perfect!”

The Details
“At first I wasn’t big on a winter wedding…but as soon as I saw The Dominion Club, I fell in love!” The two were going for a classy, bohemian vibe. They had lots of fresh greenery, white flowers, gold accents, and candles giving their night a touch of romance and warmth. For their colors, they wanted natural, neutral colors. “Greens, whites, golds, and black.”

Lindsay and Bobby said their vows in front of 280 of their closest family and friends on the unique landing at The Dominion Club. Their pup, Gunner, even made an appearance!

Lindsay says she wanted her entire wedding to WOW her guests. “We wanted an awesome band, great food, and a stocked bar.” Their flowers added a special and stylish touch to their winter night and were Lindsay’s favorite decoration by far. They chilly night was warmed up with classic linens and table settings, white linens, gold chargers, and black napkins.

Though it was cold, they were nice and cozy at The Dominion Club. The two danced the night away, the perfect ending to the perfect day.

Favorite Part of the Day
“THE WHOLE THING! I really can’t just choose one thing.”

Biggest Challenge
“Being 600 miles away made it a bit challenging. I was only able to meet with my vendors one time!”

Best Piece of Advice
“Don’t stress. At the end of the day, you will be surrounded by all of the most important people in your life! Regardless of what happens, it will be the best day ever!”
