What’s In Store at Our Summer Show

So, you’re coming (or thinking about coming) to our Richmond Weddings Summer Show on July 22nd at Main Street Station. What should you expect? We’re here to help!

From departure to your arrival, this post will help you get a better idea of what’s in store for the big show! Here at Richmond Weddings we try to make the planning process as easy as possible, and our wedding show is no different. We hope you will have a great time, and we can also help you continue planning the Richmond wedding of your dreams!

Parking:
On Sunday, July 22, you’ll arrive at Main Street Station.  You’ll find parking directly across the street. There is a ton of detailed parking information for you HERE! Your first hour will be free then expect to pay $1 per hour with a $5 max. The machines accept cash and credit cards.

Parking is easy as there are many nearby lots to choose from. If you’re looking to ditch the stress completely and have curbside service, remember: there’s always Uber or Lyft!

Checking In:
Our first 300 guests with Early Admission (11:00 AM) tickets will also get some fun Richmond Weddings Swag!

We have a few VIP tickets left! With your VIP pass, you’ll get a guaranteed seat during the fashion show, VIP treatment, and an AWESOME swag bag full of extra goodies and discounts from preferred vendors! (See below from last show!)

After checking in with our staff and getting your special “I’m Engaged!” wristbands, you’ll get a FREE copy of our newest issue of Richmond Weddings (before it’s even in stores!)

Getting Started: 
You’ll then receive a program of events and use the stairs or elevator to enter the grand newly renovated train shed.

In the impressive train shed, you’ll find around 100 of the friendliest and most professional RVA vendors who are eager and ready to help you get inspired for your wedding! From amazing cakes to taste, to barbecue that will knock your socks off to stunning florals, you’ll find all the #weddinginspo you could ever want!

As you walk further into the station you’ll find a variety of vendors, as well as fun stations to make the most of the day with your bridal entourage! You’ll can visit our selfie station and Photo Booth to capture this moment forever!

Make your way to the back of the train shed at 1:30 pm for our fashion show featuring this season’s hottest looks for brides, bridesmaids, grooms, and even flower girls!  Put on by Tiffanys Bridal and POSH PR, this fashion show is a must-see! Remember, EVERYONE has access to the fashion show. The VIP add-on is for a guaranteed seat + extra swag.
